Quick and easy to set up – this greenhouse is supplied with a fixing kit (inc. screws and plugs) to attach the greenhouse to a fence, wall or garden shed and incorporates ground loops to enable you to peg it down. It incorporates a rear ‘windblock panel’. So whilst the maximum height of the greenhouse is 5ft 6in, this panel means you can fix the greenhouse against walls or fences which are as low as 3ft 9in. In addition to the five brass fixing eyelets across the lower edge of the ‘windblock panel’, you can achieve a secure mounting by using as many as possible of the seven eyelets around the edge of the greenhouse.
Strong construction – combines a strong, light, flexible fibreglass frame with a tough, UV stabilised, PVC material. The PVC is semi-opaque allowing a diffused light reach your plants, helping to prevent scorching when the sun is strong. It is also an 100% recyclable material.
Two ventilation panels – covered with insect mesh, these panels allow fresh air in whilst at the same time keeping insects out. To increase the temperature and humidity simple keep the panels closed. For greater ventilation you can hook the front of the greenhouse in an up position – there are four different height settings allowing you a wide range of ventilation options.
Access is quick and easy – simply lift-up the front and hold it securely in place with the hook or loops and toggles. It can be folded completely back against the wall as you work using the integral rain awning. This not only holds it securely out of the way, it also prevents rain from gathering in the folds and saves you from a potential soaking when you close the greenhouse after heavy rain. An additional, double hooked, central strap provides extra support and helps reinforce the greenhouse in the event of snow.
Dimensions – 8ft 2in / 2.5m wide x 5ft 6in / 1.67m deep x 5ft 6in / 1.67m high.
Suitable for fixing to wall and fences over 3ft 9in / 1.15cm high.
Top Tip
Experiments have shown that during the winter after a sharp, overnight frost, the temperature within the greenhouse is 8*C warmer than the outside temperature – that can easily be the difference between plants dying or surviving.
