Deluxe 4′ High Vegetable Cage

 Designed and manufactured by Two Wests means you benefit from the best quality materials in a very practical design.

 Frame is made from strong, rot-proof aluminium tubing (3/4″/19mm diameter) and sturdy nylon joints.

 Maximum stability is achieved with uprights at every 4’ across the width and every 6′ down the length.

 The aluminium frame has a deluxe, long lasting powder coated gloss green finish.

 To protect your crops from pests these cages are supplied complete with either 3/8″ (1cm) anti butterfly netting or 3/4″ (2cm) anti bird netting.

Please Note:
In snowy weather butterfly and bird netting should either be removed or replaced by larger mesh pigeon netting to allow snow to fall through – wet snow is very heavy! Anyone who grows fruit and veg at home knows that certain crops simply can’t be raised successfully without some form of crop protection. Of course many things are suggested for keeping birds and other pests at bay, such as old CD’s and polythene bags hung among the plants.

However, although these things may work initially, birds soon learn to ignore them and of course they have no effect at all on insect pests. As far as birds are concerned, nothing works as well as covering the crop completely with a good quality fruit cage. A fruit cage or on a smaller area, a netting clad cloche, is ideal for protecting your cabbages and lettuces from marauding pigeons, and means that you have complete peace of mind, no matter how many hungry birds circle your garden.
